Terms & Conditions for Lanz Recruitment

The term "Client" refers to employers who are using the services of LANZ Recruitment.

The term "Job seeker" refers to those individuals registered with LANZ recruitment and who wish to seek employment.

  1. Obligations of LANZ Recruitment(LANZ)
    LANZ will not be liable for any damages, financial or otherwise resulting from your contact and use of our services. Any contract to work, including full time, part time, Locum, emergency, or occasional hours, is between Client and Jobseeker only. LANZ shall not be liable for any damages, financial or otherwise if either party does not fulfil the contract.
  2. Obligations of the Client and Jobseeker
    1. The Client and Jobseeker undertakes to take all reasonable precautions against the access of LANZ Recruitment information from unauthorised persons.
    2. Registered Job seekers may not be employed by a currently registered Client without prior approval and payment of appropriate LANZ Recruitment fee by the employer.
    3. Registered Job seekers must inform LANZ Recruitment of any independent approaches to potential employers, LANZ registered or otherwise. This prevents embarrassment from all parties concerned.
  3. Confidentiality
    Confidentiality of candidate particulars must be respected by the Client and Jobseeker and not knowingly divulged to any third party without prior consent from LANZ Recruitment.
  4. Liability
    LANZ Recruitment does not verify or guarantee any Jobseeker or Client details. The Client shall satisfy itself as to the suitability of the Jobseeker and shall take up any references provided by any applicant before engaging such jobseeker. The Client shall be responsible for obtaining work and other permits, for the arrangements of medical examinations and/or investigations into the medical history of the Jobseeker, and satisfy any medical and other requirements or qualifications required by the law.
  5. Fees
    Standard fees for placements shall apply as illustrated in the fee guide, unless the Client has reached an agreement to alter or be exempt from these rates.
  6. Practice Purchases
    Should a LANZ Recruitment jobseeker subsequently purchase a practice following placement, a 3% commission is payable to LANZ Recruitment by the vendor.
  7. Payments
    An invoice will be sent to the employer within 7 days of the commencement of employment. Jobseekers cheques shall be made payable to LANZ Recruitment upon registration, unless otherwise agreed by prior arrangements.
  8. Revision
    LANZ Recruitment reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions.
  9. Indemnity
    The Client or Jobseeker hereby agrees to indemnify LANZ Recruitment Ltd in respect of all and any claims.
