Our client is looking for a full time experienced Receptionist/Dental Assistant to join their busy Wellington practice. As you'll be the first point of contact it is important that you are friendly, approachable and have the ability to make patients feel at ease. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be well presented.
Some key responsibilities, as well as being a Chairside Assistant, are:
Assisting with patient queries
Responding to emails
Booking and confirming appointments
Sending referrals to Specialists
Corresponding with ACC and Ministry of Health
Assisting dentists in surgery when required
To be successful you will need to have previous reception experience and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Exact software knowledge is an advantage.
